Toxic Ramen
Posted by tata on Sunday Jan 25, 2009 Under FoodPoor Americans (such as myself) have long been sustained by the greatness of Ramen noodles. My brother, Big Rob, taught me years ago how to make it stretch a little farther: by adding egg. Here’s how to make Toxic Ramen.*
Get yourself some packs of Ramen noodles at your local grocer. They cost around $0.10-$0.20 per package and come in a variety of flavors. I like Beef.
If desired, crunch up noodles while still in packaging. Open and remove seasoning packets. Boil the noodles.
When the noodles are done, drain.
Return to pot, but not to heat just yet.
Crack in two eggs.
Now add those seasoning packets.
Return to heat and stir vigorously…
Keep stirring until the egg is thoroughly cooked. It should look something like this.
Devour! Grilled cheese optional.
*These directions call for 2 packages of Ramen noodles. For one package, add one egg instead of two.
