Grinny Possum Sonnie Friday Night Knitting at Grinny Possum is awesome. It’s usually on the last Friday of the month, but due to the upcoming holiday season, starting next month it will be on the first Friday of the month. So I get it two weeks in a row! Yay!

Us Ann and Samag's manThere were some new (to me) faces - including two men. How cool to kick it with crafty guys! I hope to see them more often.

Sonnie dyes Drivebyknitting and Sonnie On Saturday, I packed up the kids and went to nellis’s place for dye day - yarn dying!

I didn’t participate, just sat back and watched. It was really interesting - next time I will definitely play along.

 

 

 

The finished dyed yarn hangs to dry. Some really awesome colors going on here! Next time!

Some light conversation and good food round out the excellent company and damn near guarantee a good time!

 

 

 

Buddha & Nellis Kids Buddha models Sonnie's hat Buddha tries walking in his cast Buddha looked so cute in Sonnie’s hat, but he wouldn’t keep it on. He also really enjoyed having other kids around and even tried taking a few steps in his cast!

 

Joy hangin' outC and OJoy was tickled to hang out with Sonnie’s daughter O again, too. They disappeared into the basement, but I stole a pic or two when they reemerged.

    I LOVE all the picture and I agree w/ babyhellfire I the yarn dying looks awesome. I would love to dye some yarn even though I don’t kniot or crochet….lol!
