Blog The Recession
Posted by tata on Sunday Aug 3, 2008 Under blogsThere is a movement among bloggers going on and I’ve decided to join. It’s called Blog The Recession, an idea of Kristin’s over at Motherhood Uncensored. I found out about it through Margalit’s blog What Was I THINKING? Thanks, Margalit!
The premise is simple. If you read blogs, then for the month of August, make the “pledge” to click through from your feed reader. No obligation to leave a hilarious comment or send a long stalkerish email (although both, within reason, are always lovely). Just click through to the blog (not on ads unless you are so led) and if you’re feeling generous, click around to their older posts.Just those extra page views can make a big difference for bloggers who could really use the help, or in my case, where page views don’t matter so much, a big fat ego boost. (Might as well inflate the ego since everything else about me is inflated these days)(Oh, and I do link up some cool shit in my sidebar so that’s worth checking, especially today)If you feel like hopping on the bandwagon (c’mon, it’s fun and I’m a really great driver), then all you need to do is grab a button — see below, slap it on your blog, and [
beg, plead] ask your readers to click through on their feed readers or blogrolls and do the same within a post.

I would love to blog, especially when I am ot studying, a recession you say? The price of milk went up .27cents the unemployment rate went up7% a degree is nothing more than a reciept . women are still making .75cents for every dollar a man make in the most competetive fields just because of gender. the war is lucrative so it will never end less the U.S. economy collapses and wow I am back in school because I just can’t do anything else. And If this is niot a recesssion then it is who you know and not whatyou know.

Thanks for coming by and commenting on my blog! Sorry but when I didn’t have the ‘captcha’ thin on I was getting spammed. I don’t even get that many hits but the spam thing is a PITA too! I couldn’t remove it without somehow clicking on it? I appreciate that you commented on mine regardless! Blog the Recession! Pretty cool!

I’m seeing evidence of recession, and inflation is a big part of it. Trouble is, salaries aren’t moving like prices are. Well, here’s my click on it!

I have the comment capture on because when I don’t, I get slammed with spam and hellfire and damnation posts and I hate those. I do think the word verify is some cruel bastid trying to drive bloggers crazy, one impossible verification at a time….
